Posted by Ricksreef on September 04 2011 post rating 100 (0 votes)      When I started my 75 gallon reef In March I only added 35 lbs. of live rock on top of 130 lbs. of base rock.I believe that the ideal for bio-filteration is to have at least two lb. of rock per gallon.
