notes
A lovely choice for the home aquarium. The Two Banded is quite energetic and hardy. However, it can act aggressive towards other anemonefish and passive tankmates. So, mix with caution. It will associate itself with most anemones available.
overview

The Two Banded Clownfish (Amphiprion bicinctus) is sometimes called a Two Banded Anemonefish, a Red Sea Anemonefish, or a Red Sea Clownfish. It belongs to the family named Pomacentridae. Typically reaching a max size of about 5.0 inches in length, the Two Banded Clownfish is semi-aggressive in nature and hardy in stamina. It's more active during the daytime and less at night, and will hang out across the entire tank. According to FishDB current data, captive breeding success is unreported and there are no external signs of sexual differences. Amphiprion bicinctus should not be housed in a tank less than 30 gallons in size. Tank parameters should be maintained with ph level between 8.1 - 8.3, temperature between 77 - 79 degrees fahrenheit, and a salinity between 1.020 - 1.023.
