notes
The Red Saddleback is quite different then the Brown Saddleback. It is very hardy and aggresive and should never be with other anemonefish or smaller, passive fish. It associates best with a Bubbletip (Entacmaea quadricolor) Anemone, or Leaterey (Heteractis crispa) Anemones.
overview

The Red Saddleback Clownfish (Amphiprion ephippium) is sometimes called a Fire Anemonefish, a Fire Clownfish, or a Red Saddleback Anemonefish. It belongs to the family named Pomacentridae. Typically reaching a max size of about 5.0 inches in length, the Red Saddleback Clownfish is aggressive in nature and hardy in stamina. It's more active during the daytime and less at night, and will hang out across the entire tank. According to FishDB current data, captive breeding success is good and there are no external signs of sexual differences. Amphiprion ephippium should not be housed in a tank less than 30 gallons in size. Tank parameters should be maintained with ph level between 8.1 - 8.3, temperature between 77 - 79 degrees fahrenheit, and a salinity between 1.020 - 1.023.
