notes
This very large trigger is as attractive as it is problematic. The Queen will grow very fast and turn on any tank mate in its path. Even when housed in a very large aquarium (200+ gallons), there is still a great risk that this trigger will attack its tankmates. Aside from the risk to your aquarium population, the Queen also likes to redecorate the tank by toppling rock and ripping up tubing.
overview

The Queen Triggerfish (Balistes vetula) belongs to the family named Balistidae. Typically reaching a max size of about 24.0 inches in length, the Queen Triggerfish is aggressive in nature and hardy in stamina. It's more active during the daytime and less at night, and will hang out across the entire tank. According to FishDB current data, captive breeding success is unreported and there are no external signs of sexual differences. Balistes vetula should not be housed in a tank less than 180 gallons in size. Tank parameters should be maintained with ph level between 8.1 - 8.3, temperature between 77 - 79 degrees fahrenheit, and a salinity between 1.020 - 1.023. Some of the environmental concerns that you should strive to replicate in your home aquaria to promote succesful acclimation include extra swimming area, plenty of hiding places, and a species only tank.
