notes
A wonderful wrasse for the peaceful reef tank. These actually do very well in groups, but as usual, add them all at the same time. Having them in groups will make them feel more secure, but it will also cause the males to "flash" their colorful fins at the females for courtship and other males as a power display.
overview

The Pink Flasher Wrasse (Pseudocheilinus sp.) belongs to the family named Labridae. Typically reaching a max size of about 3.2 inches in length, the Pink Flasher Wrasse is generally passive in nature and hardy in stamina. It's more active during the daytime and less at night. According to FishDB current data, captive breeding success is unreported and there are no external signs of sexual differences. Pseudocheilinus sp. should not be housed in a tank less than 20 gallons in size. Tank parameters should be maintained with ph level between 8.1 - 8.3, temperature between 77 - 79 degrees fahrenheit, and a salinity between 1.020 - 1.023. Some of the environmental concerns that you should strive to replicate in your home aquaria to promote succesful acclimation include plenty of hiding places and keep 3 or more.
