notes
Typically hailed as wonder cleaners, Orange-lip Conch spend their day cleaning your tank. They eat most of the bad things you want removed from your substrate.
overview

The Orange lip Conch (Strombus luhuanus) is sometimes called a Sand Conch Snail. It belongs to the family named Strombidae. Typically reaching a max size of about 2.0 inches in length, the Orange lip Conch is passive in nature and hardy in stamina. It's more active during the daytime and less at night. According to FishDB current data, captive breeding success is unlikely and there are no external signs of sexual differences. Strombus luhuanus should not be housed in a tank less than 30 gallons in size. Tank parameters should be maintained with ph level between 8.1 - 8.4, temperature between 77 - 79 degrees fahrenheit, and a salinity between 1.020 - 1.023. Some of the environmental concerns that you should strive to replicate in your home aquaria to promote succesful acclimation include extra substrate area, a deep substrate, and a well established aquarium.
