notes
Great coloration and reef safe. Just don't house with other males or Fairy Wrasses, unless the tank is very large. If you wish to have a female as well, it is typically best to introduce her first or at the same time. Fairy wrasses are typically a decent community fish, however watch the larger males as they mature. They can become aggresive with other food competition in the tank.
overview

The Lubbock's Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus lubbocki) is sometimes called a Striped Lubbock's Wrasse or a Multicolor Lubbock's Wrasse. It belongs to the family named Labridae. Typically reaching a max size of about 3.2 inches in length, the Lubbock's Fairy Wrasse is semi-aggressive in nature and hardy in stamina. It's more active during the daytime and less at night, and will hang out across the entire tank. According to FishDB current data, captive breeding success is low. External sexual differences are limited to the fact that females coloration is not as pronounced or vivid.. Cirrhilabrus lubbocki should not be housed in a tank less than 30 gallons in size. Tank parameters should be maintained with ph level between 8.1 - 8.4, temperature between 77 - 79 degrees fahrenheit, and a salinity between 1.020 - 1.023. Some of the environmental concerns that you should strive to replicate in your home aquaria to promote succesful acclimation include plenty of hiding places.
