notes
Another Dwarf Angelfish for that splash of color to your semi-aggressive fish tank. It can be housed in some semi-reef environments, however it will be prone to nip at LPS corals, Polyps and Clams. The Lemonpeel has blue highlights around its eyes, gills and dorsal fin. Do not confuse with Centropyge heraldi, which looks very similar but lacks the blue highlights.
overview

The Lemonpeel Angelfish (Centropyge flavissimus) belongs to the family named Pomacanthidae. Typically reaching a max size of about 4.0 inches in length, the Lemonpeel Angelfish is semi-aggressive in nature and moderately hardy in stamina. It's more active during the daytime and less at night, and will hang out or do best in the middle tank area. According to FishDB current data, captive breeding success is unreported and there are no external signs of sexual differences. Centropyge flavissimus should not be housed in a tank less than 30 gallons in size. Tank parameters should be maintained with ph level between 8.1 - 8.3, temperature between 77 - 79 degrees fahrenheit, and a salinity between 1.020 - 1.023. Some of the environmental concerns that you should strive to replicate in your home aquaria to promote succesful acclimation include plenty of hiding places and a well established aquarium.
