A very beautiful coral, that is great for even the beginner aquarist. This hardy coral does not require much light or water current. Just supplement occasionally with filter foods and keep the water quality up as typical with most corals. However, do take caution with putting it into your tank. Its calcareous skeleton can break easily when moving or trying to place it within your rock structure. |

The Fox Coral (Nemanzophyllia turbida) is sometimes called a Jasmine Coral or a Ridge Coral. It belongs to the family named Caryophylliidae. The Fox Coral is passive in nature and hardy in stamina. It's more active during the daytime and less at night. According to FishDB current data, captive breeding success is unreported and there are no external signs of sexual differences. Nemanzophyllia turbida in general should have standard (3 watts/gallon) light to thrive. Tank parameters should be maintained with ph level between 8.1 - 8.3, temperature between 77 - 79 degrees fahrenheit, and a salinity between 1.020 - 1.023. Some of the environmental concerns that you should strive to replicate in your home aquaria to promote succesful acclimation include a fluctuating water current and a low water current.
