notes
These a generally hardy anemones. If no clownfish is present, regular feedings of meaty foods will be needed. The clownfish that typically associate with this one are the Cinnamon, Clarkii, Tomato, and Maroon. The Ocellaris may accept it if nothing else is available. The anemone will elongate its tentacles in search of food. If it is hosting a clownfish it may stay in this state more of the time.
overview

The Bubble Tip Anemone (Entacmaea quadricolor) is sometimes called a Bulb Tip Anemone, a Bulb Anemone, or a Bulb Tentacle Anemone. It belongs to the family named Actiniidae. The Bubble Tip Anemone is semi-aggressive in nature and moderately hardy in stamina. It's more active during the daytime and less at night, and will hang out or do best in the rock structures. According to FishDB current data, captive breeding success is unreported and there are no external signs of sexual differences. Entacmaea quadricolor in general should have extra bright (5+ watts/gallon) light to thrive. Tank parameters should be maintained with ph level between 8.1 - 8.3, temperature between 77 - 79 degrees fahrenheit, and a salinity between 1.020 - 1.023. Some of the environmental concerns that you should strive to replicate in your home aquaria to promote succesful acclimation include a moderate water current and rockwork structure.
