notes
The light blue stripes make for a nice variation for clownfish lovers. This one is similar to other clowns its size, it may act aggresive towards other anemonefish and passive tankmates. Otherwise, it makes a fine community fish. The Bluestripe typicaly likes to associate with the Bubble Tip(Entacemaea quadricolor) or the Sebae(Heteractis crispa) anemones, but does not need one to survive.
overview

The Bluestripe Clownfish (Amphiprion chrysopterus) is sometimes called an Orange-finned Clownfish, an Orangefin Anemonefish, or a Bluestripe Anemonefish. It belongs to the family named Pomacentridae. Typically reaching a max size of about 5.0 inches in length, the Bluestripe Clownfish is semi-aggressive in nature and hardy in stamina. It's more active during the daytime and less at night, and will hang out across the entire tank. According to FishDB current data, captive breeding success is unreported and there are no external signs of sexual differences. Amphiprion chrysopterus should not be housed in a tank less than 30 gallons in size. Tank parameters should be maintained with ph level between 8.1 - 8.3, temperature between 77 - 79 degrees fahrenheit, and a salinity between 1.020 - 1.023. Some of the environmental concerns that you should strive to replicate in your home aquaria to promote succesful acclimation include plenty of hiding places.
