notes
The Bluestripe Butterflyfish relatively easily adapts to aquarium food but does not like to compete for it. Must be housed in a peaceful environment or it will tend to hide most of the time. Try and keep the Bluestripe Butterflyfish as calm as possible or you might never see its "happy" colors, and only be left with a dull yellow speciemen.
overview

The Bluestripe Butterflyfish (Chaetodon fremblii) belongs to the family named Chaetodontidae. Typically reaching a max size of about 5.1 inches in length, the Bluestripe Butterflyfish is generally passive in nature and moderately hardy in stamina. Based on the particular specimen you acquire and its environment, the time when it is most active can fluctuate day or night, and will hang out across the entire tank. According to FishDB current data, captive breeding success is unreported and there are no external signs of sexual differences. Chaetodon fremblii should not be housed in a tank less than 55 gallons in size. Tank parameters should be maintained with ph level between 8.1 - 8.3, temperature between 77 - 79 degrees fahrenheit, and a salinity between 1.020 - 1.023. Some of the environmental concerns that you should strive to replicate in your home aquaria to promote succesful acclimation include extra swimming area, plenty of hiding places, a stable cave/sheltering ledge, and a peaceful environment.
